I recently bought a Logitech Marble Mouse which is a optical trackball mouse.
But… It got no possibility to scroll (except for those in the Logitech software that comes with the mouse, and frankly, those drivers is not even worth a glance.).
So I searched for some solution to this problem and found a few half-decent. But they were not complete so I took 3 hours to learn the AutoHotkey language which isn’t really pretty but it works, and it works good. So this is the result of that 3 hour journey.
What does this driver do?
Well, you have to install the AutoHotkey for starters, then just start the script attached to this post.
After this has been done you got yourself a Marble mouse on crack.
With the default configuration you can:
Left small button = Back (in browser)
Left small button + right big = Forward (in browser) (Hold down the left small while pressing the right big)
Right small button = Enable scrolling with the trackball (Right small has to be held down)
If your got any suggestions or questions feel free to leave a comment and I will be in touch.
